Setyana Mapasa and Gronya Somerville fought of WR17 Stefani and Gabriela Stoeva of Bulgaria overnight to claim the Yonex Dutch Open Grand Prix Title. The win was the second Grand Prix title of the year for the Aussie duo after their win at the Canada Open in July.

After being over powered by the Bulgarian sisters in the opening game the Australian’s were forced to change their tactics. “I think in the second and third (games) we just really had to be brave on our defence and really counter. In the first (game) we were a bit passive and they were able to get on top of us” said Somerville in the post-game interview.

The next stop for the Australian’s will be the Denmark Open beginning on Tuesday, where they have the task of taking on Rio 2016 Gold Medallists Takahashi and Matsutomo of Japan in the opening round.
