Every year junior teams are selected to represent Australia at these following events

 

·    Pan Pacific Invitational (annually)

Annexure 7 - 2010 Pan Pacific Championships Specific Selection Criteria

·    World Juniors (annually) (No Team in 2010)

     Youth Olympic Games (every 4 years)

·    Australian Youth Olympic Festival (every 2 to 4 years)

 

Badmiton Australia Selection Policy

 

Players wanting to apply for selection into the Australian Junior teams must fill out the forms and send them to Badminton Australia before the closing date.

 

Australian Junior Commonwealth Games Squad Program 2010

The Australian Commonwealth Games Association has provided funding from 2009 2012 to support talented national junior badminton players through the Australian Junior Commonwealth Games Squad (AJCGS) program. This funding is used annually to support Australian Junior Teams to compete on the international stage and it targets potential Commonwealth Games athletes. I

The Australian Sports Commission has a set of Generic Selection Guidelines which can be used by States and Territory’s who want to put some selection policies in place.
