Congratulations to Veeran and Choo on an excellent win in the Women’s doubles over South Africa which is Australia’s first Olympic win since 2000.

Australia's 2012 Olympic representatives will depart for the UK tomorrow after wrapping up their pre games camp in Melbourne on Friday with a series of matches against sparring players from Malaysia and Indonesia.

With just one more week before the deadline for Olympic Qualifications Australia looks set to qualify in all events except the men's singles according to the latest dummy list produced by Badzine after Glenn Warfe and Leanne Choo moved into the top 50 with a semi-final result in Tahiti last week.

Australia has rounded off an eventful pre games camp with an exhibition match against some of Great Briton’s best current players and recent retirees in front of a 500 strong local crowd in Derbyshire.
